Description:  Balancing value, form, color, and texture can be a bit of a challenge, especially for beginners.  In this lesson, layering open-weave fabric creates a variety of values, while draping and fraying naturally and effortlessly create texture and form.  Attendees will explore cheesecloth as a material for making a value study on black paper.  Pieces may be finished off with a bit of pastel for added color.
